About Frank:  

Frank is a Certified Professional Inspector with InterNACHI & and accredited by ICA to do home inspections within the state of MN - with a focus on the greater Duluth area.  218 Inspect is a culmination of a lifetime of leading, building, business ownership, & savvy - of a passion for ensuring historic homes exist in their original splendor while being safe & comfortable for modern homeowners.  

Frank grew up on a small farm in rural northwest Wisconsin. This lifestyle instilled a strong work ethic in him.  He grew up working on farm equipment & buildings with his hands - learning how things work.  When not working on the farm or projects, he could be found adventuring on my bicycle & xc skis.  These outdoor passions have taken him around the globe and have resulted in profound lifelong friendships & unique life experiences.

In college, he earned a degree in telecommunications - specializing in complex circuitry.  Since then, he used these circuitry skills to re-wire homes & garages under permit in partnership with government inspectors.

As a 19 year old, he purchased his first modest home, which was in rough shape. Under permit, he fixed it up nicely ensuring it was safe, comfortable, & attractive - and sold it a few years later to a family whom still lives there. Fast forward 24 years and quite a few homes, he has restored numerous homes to their original splendor whilst ensuring safety & comfort for modern homeowners!  Recently, he served as Director of Maintenance for Minnesota's oldest craft brewery.

He spent much of the past few decades working "day jobs" mostly in the Outdoor Industry - working sales, purchasing, brand management, owning a small business, serving as a community leader, and most recently as Director of Maintenance for a major craft brewery & restaurant. Mornings and evenings were often spent working on house restoration.  This combination of unique skills, technical experience, attention to detail, work ethic, and passion for homes are why he is a home inspector & small business owner!

Frank lives his life splitting time between Duluth & Crosby, MN - places he loves for so many reasons. When not inspecting homes or working on his own fixer-upper, he can be found adventuring with his wife & daughter on bicycle & skis, or helping test high tech ski waxes for Swiss ski wax company Toko.
